关于make的用法
很多同学喜欢用make，主要的原因是因为中文里的“使”是一个常用的字。
例子1：教育使我知道怎么和人交流。
有同学翻译成：
Education makes me to know how to communicate with others.
这是不对，因为一般没有“make somebody to do”这个说法
例子2：阅读使我知识渊博。
有同学翻译成：
Reading makes me to be knowledgeable.
这是不对，因为一般没有“make somebody to be 形容词”这个说法
那么如何减少我们中文习惯对英文表达的影响。我自己的方法是忘记“使”，直接用人做主语。
例子1：I learn how to communicate with others at school.
例子2：I have increased knowledge by reading books.
我自己在写作中很少用make这个词。Make一般有两个意思：
1 Make somebody do something= cause something to happen （造成。。。）
但是MAKE这个时候不是很正式
2 Make somebody do something=force somebody to do something （强迫某人。。。）
一般来说，我们说“使”的时候没有强迫的意思

make plans - I've made plans for the weekend.
制作计划——我已经制定了这周末的计划。
make an exception - I'll make an exception to the rule for you.
破例——我会为了你破一次例。
make arrangements - We've made arrangements for next week.
作安排——我们已经做好下周的安排了。
make a telephone call Let me make a telephone call.
打电话——让我打个电话。
make a decision - I need you to make a decision by Monday.
做决定——周一我需要你做个决定。
make a mistake - Susan made a mistake on the report.
犯错误——苏珊的报告出了错。
make noise - The children are making too much noise.
制造噪音——孩子们太吵了。
make an excuse - Tell me the truth. Don't make an excuse.
找借口——告诉我事实。别找借口了。
make an effort - I'd like you to make an effort next time.
作出努力——下次我希望你能付出努力。
make money - Jennifer makes a lot of money at her job.
赚钱——詹妮弗工作赚了很多钱。
make a profit - She made a huge profit off the last deal.
盈利——她最后一笔交易赚了一大笔钱。
make a deal - We made a two year deal.
达成交易——我们达成了一个为期两年的交易。
make a fortune - I think he'll make a fortune. He's really smart.
赚大钱——我觉得他会发财的，他真的很聪明。
